To ease the process of having your computer repaired we have compiled a list of questions and answers that people ussually ask us when we begin a repair.
What should I bring when I drop off my computer?
When you decide to bring in your computer for service at Action Computer please bring in the following:
- Laptop/Desktop (just the tower part)
- laptop Charger
- Any software you may need to be re-installed
- Any other problematic device
At Action Computers, we have all the monitors, keyboard and mice we need to test your machine, so you may leave them at home.
How does the repair process work?
When you drop of your computer for repair, we inspect it and point out any major defects we notice. We then proceed to run diagnostics on the machine to ensure you are returned a fully functional computer back. After all of tests have been completed, we will calculate a bill for the complete repair.
After we have figured out a price for repair, we will call and wait for approval by you before we start the actual repair.
We do charge a minimum fee to run all the tests. We will wave this fee if you elect to have the repair done!
Where is Action Computer Services located?
We are located off of Lisbon Street in Lewiston. We are directly across from the Holy Cross Church at the top of the hill.
If you are coming from the west, we are on the left two lights after Dunkin Donuts.
